Prioritizing Sustainable Development With UES

Engineering and technology have been integral parts of our developing world since before the pyramids were built in Egypt.  Today, as our world continues to develop at an accelerated pace, there’s an evolving need for advanced sustainable engineering practices and solutions.

Today we celebrate World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, which offers an opportunity to improve public understanding of how engineering and technology are central to sustainable development.  At UES, we recognize this critical need and have integrated a sustainability approach into our wide range of engineering and technical service offerings. 

From assessing and consulting with clients on approaches to mitigate soil, groundwater, and air contamination, to assisting in the design of safe and energy efficient ‘Green Building’ structures, to testing and certifying safe materials and work environments, to supporting many projects associated with the clean energy transition, and employing the latest technologies to ensure safe, environmentally efficient, and cost-efficient infrastructure development, the very nature of UES work embraces our social contract with the public and the planet as we support the projects and communities we help develop.
